beck and i just arrived home to chicago and look who was waiting for the beckster. jambi!!!

beck is a sweetie

beck and i have been visiting my parents in indiana for the past five days. that means sharing my brother's room with beck. i actually look forward to that because it gives me an excuse to squeeze and cuddle the beckster even more.

last night beck started talking in his sleep. "i. just need. to tell. my mom. that i love her. i love her." it was so sweet. i wish i had a way to record him. :) this morning i was in the bathroom putting on my make-up and beck was sitting outside the bathroom door. he made up a little song. "my mom is so pretty. sheeee is sooooo beautiful! my mom is the prettiest. the prettiest mom in the world."

yeah, my little dude can be a brat sometimes, but nothing beats moments like these.  i wish i could freeze these moments forever and never stop cuddling him.

summer goals

beck has three goals for the summer.

1). learn to ride his bike without training wheels

2). learn to tie his shoes before school starts

3). complete his rubix cube

beck wants tattoos

last night beck informed me he wants a chicago flag tattoo on one arm and the american flag on another. apparently my son is very patriotic.
